Meeting for all Voluntary and Community Sector Members - Thursday, 22nd November 2012

The Branch are holding a meeting for all members within the Community and Voluntary Sector.

The meeting will start at 5.00 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Cheshire County Sports Club, Plas Newton Lane, Upton, Chester.

We recognise that there are specific issues and concerns that affect people who work in this area, and we would like to hear what your concerns are; by sharing information and ideas, we can help members to lobby, negotiate and increase representation.

The meeting will bring together Speakers from the local area, from the NW Region and from UNISON HQ.  There will also be an opportunity for people to bring friends who can join UNISON on the night.  The first half hour will be an informal gathering with the meeting starting formally at 5.30 p.m.

Members will be able to claim travel expenses for attending on the night, and there will also be a free raffle.

Anyone with difficulties getting there, should let the Branch know in order that we can try and sort out a lift.
